Nursing Care

Each individual's health is our main concern and we provide tailored healthcare. 24 hour nursing care is provided under the direct supervision of our fully qualified nursing staff in accordance with each individual's care plan. Relatives are encouraged to contribute to this by providing information on the resident's social history, likes and dislikes, and interests, particularly when the resident is unable to provide the information themselves. The resident's individual needs are constantly monitored and care plans are reviewed and updated on a regular basis.

All of our rooms are equipped with electric, height adjustable, profiling beds to make residents as comfortable as possible. A number of rooms are also equipped with an overhead hoisting system to ease movement. Appropriate pressure relief equipment is also provided where necessary following ongoing assessments by the nursing staff.

Medical Services

Each resident will be registered with the nursing home's appointed GP who routinely visits on a weekly basis and who is on call to visit individuals when necessary.

Physiotherapy, speech therapy and chiropody (only available under NHS if the criteria are met) can be arranged by the GP. Chiropody is also available privately with the nursing home's appointed chiropodist who visits every four weeks.
